3B The Dioxin Biosensor
Welcome to the future of food safety
We are developing a biosensor for detecting trace amounts of Dioxin, a very dangerous chemical accumulated in meat, dairy and seafood products. This technology provides a faster, specific/accurate, simple method and is the first device using bacterial cells.
"3B Dioxin Biosensor will allow people with no special training to analyze soil, water or food for trace amounts of Dioxin in a fast and easy way. Now the detection of dioxins in food exportations, farm stocks, aquaculture ponds, chemical industries or natural disasters (forest fires, volcanic eruptions) can be done in situ".
